FITTING TIPS

Every foot is individual and needs a shoe that fits. Once you have ordered a new pair of shoes, it is often difficult to objectively assess whether the shoe fits as it should. The size and fit determine how happy you will be with your new shoes . To ensure that you can enjoy them for a long time after your purchase, we would like to help you try them on with the following tips .

The shoe in which you feel comfortable straight away has the potential to become your new favorite shoe.

Try on at home

Please only try the shoes on indoors and on carpeting and preferably use a shoehorn to avoid damaging them. Because if you don't like the shoes or they don't fit and you want to send them back, they must be in perfect condition.

The right time

The timing of the fitting is also important, as the size of the foot varies depending on the time of day and the wear and tear. Under no circumstances should the fitting be scheduled for the afternoon or evening, as the feet may then be too stressed and may also have become a little stronger. An assessment of the shoe may then be distorted and the sensation may be oversensitive. The best time to try them on is between mid-morning and midday, as your feet will be more rested.

Wear the type of sock that you want to wear with this shoe in everyday life.

Take your time!

Try on both shoes!

Feet are different in shape and size. We therefore recommend that you always try on the pair and not just a single shoe.

The right fit

Your feet should have enough room for optimum comfort. This is the case when there is about a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the tip of the shoe. The heel should not be able to slip out of the back of the shoe and still have a firm hold. If you feel that the shoe is just a little too wide or too big, try our insoles or half soles to optimize the fit of your favourite pieces.

Special material features

If you have opted for a leather item, you should bear in mind that leather is a natural product and is always slightly stretchy due to its nature. It is therefore possible that the upper material will stretch over time. Minor differences in color are also possible with leather products.
